Transformers

Distribution Transformers are designed and manufactured to meet and exceed industry standards and the specific applications’ exact specifications. Special options and features are designed in the initial configuration and built into the units. Distribution Transformers are oil-immersed for the most effective, long-term reliability across a wide range of utility and industrial applications.

Distribution Transformers are liquid-oil-immersed hermetically sealed.

In hermetically sealed transformers, oil does not come in contact with the air. Therefore, it does not cause any damage to electrical properties, which guarantees the long lifespan of transformers. A transformer may still be sealed using nitrogen padding for power over 3150 KVA or transformers with heat sinks. The expansion of insulation fluid is compensated for by the elastic warping of an oil-cooled radiator attached to the tank. DGPT devices protect gas, internal pressure, and oil temperature over-temperature sensing.

We use cladded tanks to manufacture our hermetically sealed oil transformers. These transformers are equipped with fins to expand with temperature changes. The tanks are as tight as up to 0.5 bars. This kind of transformer is the most popular worldwide.
